I bought this FE new in June 1983. Including a 50mm f1.8 Nikkor lens,
it cost £197.90; the MD12 motor drive was added some time later. The
camera saw a great many rolls of Kodachrome
64 my preferred transparency film of the time. As you can see, it's
looking a bit tired and rubbed down to the brass here and there but it still
works.
